Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java for a 6-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java - Job Description:
This role involves front end development for a critical project with a focus on Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) compliance. The project will require creating and implementing user-friendly interfaces and ensuring they meet accessibility standards.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement front end code including user interface interactions
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications
• Develop detailed programming specifications and generate code
• Troubleshoot technical problems during software use and operation
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience with Java language
• 5+ years of experience with RXJS
• 5+ years of experience with React
• 10+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 5+ years of experience with TypeScript
• Experience with AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA compliance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior experience with OPS or public sector
• Experience with responsive frameworks
• Experience with social media APIs
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior-Java - Start Date:
ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
