Software Developer- Front End - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer- Front End - Senior for a 9-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s office in Toronto, Ontario.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior - Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Front-End Software Developer to contribute to the development of high-quality software products, including Minimal Viable Products and Cloud-Native Web Application products. The role involves new development with a focus on accessibility compliance and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, Cloud Architects, and backend developers to implement designs into React/Next applications.
• Develop responsive web interfaces that work seamlessly across online and mobile devices.
• Ensure design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all projects.
• Support Quality Assurance & Defect Management through various testing methods.
• Provide application support, including incident investigation and troubleshooting.
• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet changing business needs and deadlines.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in React, REST APIs, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and NextJS.
• Knowledgeable in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Hands-on experience with Git, SVN, and branching strategies.
• Experience with Swagger-UI, Postman, OAuth/JWT.
• Strong understanding of UI design principles.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with responsive web front-end, Web APIs, and web services.
• Familiarity with unit testing and test automation support.
• Knowledge of JSON and SpringBoot.
• Experience with regression testing, both manual and automated.
• Use of CI/CD pipeline to build and deploy applications.

Software Developer- Front End - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 9-month contract position, running from June to March 31, 2027.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
