On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL for a 10-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical government project focused on enhancing enterprise platform capabilities. The project includes designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable software solutions to support various government programs.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise platform capabilities.
• Build reusable platform services for multiple government programs.
• Implement service-specific connections for registries, permitting, forms, payments, notifications, and other functions.
• Convert approved designs and requirements into secure, scalable software.
• Provide technical leadership through design input, code review, automated testing, and production support.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Mandatory Skills:
• Ten or more years of experience in designing and developing large-scale web applications.
• Extensive hands-on Java development experience with Oracle and SQL.
• Significant experience with REST APIs and RESTful web services.
• Experience with security gateways and protocols, including JSON Web Tokens and OAuth 2.0.
• Experience with microservice architecture and Internet-ready applications.
• Experience with relational and hierarchical databases, SQL tuning.
• Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable tools.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Ontario Public Service standards.
• Public sector experience.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches.
• Experience with middleware and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with data migration or conversion activities.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL – Assignment Length:
This is a 10-month contract position.

ASAP.

Software Developer - Full Stack - Senior-Java, Oracle, SQL - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
