Software Developer – React.js/Node.js
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer – React.js/Node.js for a 4.5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer – React.js/Node.js - Job Description:
The project involves working on the Open Banking Core, focusing on platform scope scaling with more use cases and clients. The role includes contributing to the development and enhancement of scalable, enterprise-level technology stacks with a strong emphasis on front-end development using React.js.

Software Developer – React.js/Node.js - Responsibilities:
• Provide technical direction with team input and feedback
• Assist in developing coding standards and testing approaches
• Collaborate with the Architect to realize technical vision and direction
• Offer expert advice and counsel on complex issues related to “area of specialty”
• Review solution designs and related code
• Proficiently scan for security issues and implement best practices
• Mentor and assist team members in technical knowledge and best coding practices

Software Developer – React.js/Node.js - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a React.js and Node.js developer
• 7+ years of experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB
• 7+ years of experience with Redis or caching strategies
• 7+ years of experience deploying applications on GCP using Kubernetes
• 7+ years of experience with CI/CD
• 7+ years of experience with REST API design
• Proficiency in modern JS toolsets (ES6, Typescript, Babel, Lerna, Jest, Protractor)

Software Developer – React.js/Node.js – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with Java & SpringBoot
• Experience with Application Security like oAuth2 and/or SSO
• Knowledge of Agile principles and adaptability to new environments

Software Developer – React.js/Node.js – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position until approximately October 31st, with a possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid work arrangement with 3-4 days in the office.
