Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net for a 10-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net - Job Description:
The role involves working on the Victim Notification System (VNS) Modernization Project, which aims to modernize victim notification services through system integration and application development. The project focuses on implementing a Vendor Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution and integrating it with the Offender Tracking Information System (OTIS).

Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net - Responsibilities:
• Support the configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and operational readiness of the Vendor SaaS solution.
• Translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and tested solution components.
• Coordinate with vendor technical teams and perform system and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement defect fixes.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and accessibility standards.
• Support deployment, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation stabilization activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and vendor partners.

Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience building and maintaining stable, secure, and scalable web & desktop applications using Azure Cloud and MS .Net technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in full life-cycle development using cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, .NET, C#/MVC, Entity Framework, ReactJS, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Azure DevOps, and Azure Functions.
• Experience in data modeling, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Experience in working with diverse stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration.
• Senior-level experience in designing and configuring database management systems using Azure SQL Database.
• Experience in Agile Software Development.
• Experience applying industry web, accessibility, and security standards.

Software Developer - Senior- Azure, .Net – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Technical leadership in implementing and integrating SaaS solutions.
• Experience with the Government of Ontario Information and Technology Standards (GO-ITS).
• Experience in establishing technical best practices.
• Experience in performance monitoring and capacity planning.
• Experience in data migration activities.
