Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer for a 10-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer - Job Description:
The role involves working on a critical project focused on data integration and dashboard expansion for the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. The project includes developing new functionalities and enhancing existing applications to improve data analytics and reporting capabilities.

Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer - Responsibilities:
• Work with the business team to develop and validate enhancements as per business requirements.
• Maintain and enhance the existing application and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
• Ensure synchronized and consistent data access for all OFPS locations.
• Document development processes, design databases, and conduct testing.
• Support the development of architecture artifacts and ensure solution alignment with enterprise architecture patterns.
• Expand the existing pilot dashboard to include additional metrics and reporting capabilities.
• Develop data pipelines, APIs, reporting services, and dashboard functionality.
• Design and build secure interfaces between various databases.
• Establish data exchange mechanisms for legal information.
• Consolidate legacy data sources into a unified platform.

Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience with programming and developing in .NET Core.
• Experience with C#, .Net, VB.NET, ASP. Net, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, and XML/XLST.
• Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL environment.
• Experience building applications using MS .NET elements and Visual Studio.
• Experience in Service-oriented architecture, object-oriented design, and user interface development.
• Strong communication skills and team player.
• Experience with data migration and SQL Server.

Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Oracle RDMS and Web Servers.
• Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
• Experience with information retrieval packages using SQL.
• Experience with communications protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud development and enterprise library.

Software Developer - Senior- .Net Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 10-month contract position.
