On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript for a contract role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s office in Ontario.

Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript - Job Description:
Seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to the development of a public-facing portal for Registration and Permit workflows. This is a new development project aimed at building a modern online registration system for both external and internal users.

Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript - Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain large-scale multi-client web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Integrate public-facing portals with back-office systems developed in MS Dynamics CRM via MuleSoft middleware
• Ensure compliance with WCAG and AODA standards for accessibility
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior developers and technical teams
• Produce technical documentation and solution designs

Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience with React, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• 5+ years of experience with HTML 5.0, CSS, and Node such as NPM
• 5+ years of experience with RXJS and responsive web application development
• 3+ years of experience with Bootstrap, jQuery, and Git
• Proven experience with WCAG and AODA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with microservice architecture

Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with NextJS and VueJS
• Knowledge of Object Oriented coding practices and design patterns
• Experience with AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, AI Agents, and LLMs
• Strong focus on continuous improvement and automation
• Proven ability to facilitate decision-making and resolve technical challenges

Software Developer - Senior- React, JavaScript – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position with a specified end date.
