Software Developer - Senior:
On behalf of our technology client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior for a 3 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Senior - Job Description:
The Senior Software Developer will be part of a team working on enhancing and maintaining EHOCM, a large-scale multi-client web application. The project focuses on applying microservice architecture principles to improve the product's extensibility and maintainability. The role involves both new development and platform upgrades.

Software Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Design and develop large-scale multi-client web applications
• Implement Java-based solutions with Oracle or SQL databases
• Develop and maintain RestAPI and RESTful WebServices
• Apply microservice architecture principles to enhance product features
• Utilize Azure DevOps for project management and deployment
• Ensure applications are Internet-ready and adhere to security protocols

Software Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in designing and developing web applications
• 10+ years of Java development with Oracle or SQL databases
• 5+ years of experience with RestAPI and RESTful WebServices
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience using Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Software Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates)
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies
• Experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
• Public sector experience with OPS Development standards/processes

Software Developer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 3 month contract position.
