Software Developer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior for a 12 month contract role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical government project focused on Oracle E-Business application customizations. The candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing large-scale multi-client web applications.

Software Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
• Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code.
• Compile data-driven programs and conduct unit tests.
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software operation, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.

Software Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale multi-client web applications.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Java development with Oracle or SQL databases.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with RestAPI, RESTful WebServices.
• Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, Oauth2.0, SSL Certificates).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Software Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Experience using Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite customizations.
• Experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).

Software Developer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12 month contract position.

Software Developer - Senior - Start Date:
ASAP.

Software Developer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
