Software Developer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves working on a critical project focused on API development and cloud technologies. The candidate will be involved in developing and maintaining web applications and services using ASP.NET, .Net Core, and Azure technologies.

Software Developer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications
• Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code
• Resolve and troubleshoot technical problems during software use and operation
• Collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle
• Design, code, test, debug, and document applications

Software Developer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines
• Web Apps/Web API/Web Services development (ASP.NET, REST, OpenAPI, OAuth2)
• Working knowledge of development in Azure technologies
• Working knowledge of .NET, C#, JavaScript
• Proficiency in all cloud service models: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS

Software Developer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of programming Internet-ready applications
• Experience with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA)
• Ability to provide user and system documentation

Software Developer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.

Software Developer - Senior - Start Date:
ASAP

Software Developer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
