Solutions Designer - Intermediate:
On behalf of our Transportation client, Procom is searching for a Solutions Designer - Intermediate for a contract role. 

Solutions Designer - Intermediate - Job Description:
The Solutions Designer - Intermediate will manage and provide technical input to the day-to-day execution of delivery teams implementing technology solutions to address business needs. The role involves validating Service Provider outputs, managing incremental releases, and ensuring alignment with the technical roadmap. 

Solutions Designer - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Support the definition of the I&IT team’s yearly operating plan and performance objectives.
• Manage I&IT teams towards successful technical delivery and governance.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture teams to support the development of the I&IT technology roadmap.
• Validate that I&IT solutions meet business expectations.
• Provide oversight to solution maturity through execution of the plan.
• Manage risks pertaining to product project delivery and release management.
• Support managing the relationship with Service Providers.
• Design and build foundational technology and infrastructure solutions at scale.

Solutions Designer - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum eight years of related experience in midsize-to-large initiatives.
• Experience with migrating on-prem applications to cloud platforms.
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certified.
• Expertise in Product Solution Delivery and Application Management Lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Agile Lifecycle Management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Ability to manage integration points between solutions.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Solutions Designer - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Foundation/Practitioner.
• Agile certification (Agile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Product Owner).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2.
• ITIL Foundations Certification.
• Experience with Service Provider management.

Solutions Designer - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position. 

Solutions Designer - Intermediate - Start Date:
ASAP.

Solutions Designer - Intermediate - Assignment Location:
Toronto - This position is hybrid with 3 days in office.
