Sr. Business Analyst:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Business Analyst for a contract role. This position is onsite with 5 days at our client’s Toronto office.

Sr. Business Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves assisting the Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) with report development for the data warehouse/lakehouse and associated data migration activities. The role focuses on building the golden layer of the data lakehouse, modernizing reports, and ensuring successful data migration.

Sr. Business Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Lead and conduct business and system analysis for data migration activities.
• Define and document report requirements in user stories using DevOps.
• Liaise between Business Areas and the data migration team to clarify and translate business requirements.
• Conduct business modeling and use case modeling.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues and assist with test case definition.
• Provide ongoing support and optimize data management processes post-migration.
• Produce and update documentation for future support of implemented solutions.

Sr. Business Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in business and system analysis.
• Proven experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in building data marts, data warehouses, or data lakehouses.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 CE and/or F&O solutions.
• Experience writing user stories and using DevOps.
• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as PowerBI.
• Basic knowledge of SQL language.

Sr. Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in large/complex data migration projects.
• Understanding of ETL concepts, data quality, and data cleaning.
• Experience with defect management processes.
• Familiarity with industry-standard quality assurance practices.
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders and build strong working relationships.

Sr. Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position with the possibility of extension based on project needs.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is onsite with 5 days per week required at the office.
