Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer:
On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer for a contract role. This role is up to 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer - Job Description:
The client is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to support the timely software development and implementation of secure serverless Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). These APIs will form the integration layer required for the Digital Correspondence solution, enabling secure management of correspondence records and notifications.

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and support cloud environments to create digital products
• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment
• Create, test, and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Advanced expertise in AWS CloudFormation and AWS CDK using Python and NodeJS
• Deep hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins)
• Strong expertise in AWS security best practices and IAM roles/policies
• Experience managing cloud environments under healthcare compliance frameworks (e.g., PHIPA, HIPAA)
• Experience with FHIR repositories, specifically Smile CDR and AWS HealthLake
• Experience working with OpenText NetIQ IAM
• Public sector experience

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional or AWS Certified Security - Specialty
• Familiarity with AWS Fault Injection Simulator (FIS) for Chaos Engineering
• Understanding of large-scale healthcare interoperability frameworks
• Experience with OpenSearch/ElasticSearch
• Knowledge of provisioning cloud messaging services like AWS Pinpoint

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 6 month contract position.

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer - Start Date:
ASAP.

Sr. DevOps Cloud Engineer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with up to 5 days onsite, subject to the hiring manager's discretion.
