On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Engineer, AI and Cloud for a 6-month role. This position is hybrid, with 4 days onsite at our client’s Southlake, TX office. There is also an option for hybrid in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Description:
Our Financial client is seeking a driven, purposeful Sr. Engineer to join their team focused on AI and Cloud, Business Process Management Technology. Our primary goal is to transform lives by revolutionizing how the world invests. This role involves enhancing core applications to support scalability, reliability, and migration to cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions to meet business needs
• Provide hands-on technical mentoring and drive AI and cloud best practices adoption
• Interact with business, technology, and operations support partners
• Identify technical gaps/risks early and establish mitigation plans
• Strive for improvements in process, application time-to-market, and quality

Mandatory Skills:
• 6+ years software development on large-scale enterprise platforms
• 4-6+ years financial services experience (preferably brokerage), with knowledge of Margins, Options Expiration, Futures, Violations, Pledged Asset Loans
• 5+ years on large/complex projects with multiple dependencies using Agile (Scrum/Kanban/Scaled Agile)
• 6+ years distributed systems and cloud platform development
• Full Stack: Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, .NET Core in Windows data center environment
• Angular, RXJS, TypeScript, PrimeNg
• SOAP and REST service integration
• Extensive GCP and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) experience
• Aerospike NoSQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
• BPM platform integration (e.g., Appian)
• IBM MQ and Kafka messaging
• Hands-on Agentic AI tools/frameworks, AI-DLC experience
• Experience owning/operating mission-critical services
• Telemetry/metrics for operational excellence

Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience as a technical expert and mentoring within an organization
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering and architecture trends

Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month position.
