On behalf of our manufacturing client, Procom is searching for a Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with occasional onsite at our client’s Lansing, Michigan office.

Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration - Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead critical post-merger IT integration initiatives. The role focuses on driving infrastructure and enterprise application integrations to achieve business synergies, reduce complexity, and ensure a seamless transition to a unified operating model.

Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration - Responsibilities:
• Lead execution of the post-close IT integration roadmap across infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, end-user computing, collaboration platforms, and core business systems.
• Drive multiple concurrent workstreams while ensuring cross-functional alignment between IT, business leaders, vendors, and acquired organizations.
• Develop practical integration plans, identify dependencies, manage risks, and remove execution roadblocks.
• Coordinate integration activities across infrastructure, networking, identity, cloud, ERP, collaboration, security, and business applications.
• Partner with functional leaders to prioritize initiatives that maximize synergy capture and business value.
• Track and report executive-level milestones, risks, decisions, and financial benefits.
• Manage third-party implementation partners and vendors to ensure delivery against commitments.

Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years leading enterprise IT programs and complex technology implementations.
• Proven experience leading multiple post-merger or acquisition IT integrations.
• Deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, identity, networking, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
• Experience integrating core business systems including ERP, CRM, collaboration platforms, ITSM, and business intelligence solutions.
• Demonstrated success managing executive stakeholders and influencing decisions without direct authority.
• Experience in manufacturing, medical device, life sciences, aerospace & defense, or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience leading integrations following private equity acquisitions.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, networking, cybersecurity, and enterprise application ecosystems.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with ERP migrations or consolidations (Epicor, Syteline, M2M/Aptean, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Experience working with global organizations and distributed teams.

Sr IT Project Manager - Post Merger IT Integration – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for 6–12 months, with potential extension.

ASAP.
