Sr. Project Manager:
On behalf of our insurance services client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Project Manager for a short-term contract.

Sr. Project Manager - Job Description:
The Sr. Project Manager will lead Agile project teams in the insurance services sector. The role involves solution design, estimation, and project planning, focusing on software development projects. The manager will ensure that the solutions meet business needs while monitoring time, cost, and scope.

Sr. Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Lead Agile project teams through solution design and estimation
• Oversee project planning, building, validating, and delivery
• Monitor time, cost, and scope, keeping management informed of progress
• Resolve issues for the Project Team and drive resources towards resolution
• Ensure the solution meets the business need
• Communicate complex topics to non-technical and management resources

Sr. Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• Eight or more years managing software development projects
• Designation in field of expertise, e.g., PMP
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management practices
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication with senior executives

Sr. Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in the insurance services sector
• Familiarity with current industry trends
• Additional certifications in project management
• Experience with project management software tools
• Knowledge of business process improvement

Sr. Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract with possibility of extension

ASAP.

Sr. Project Manager - Assignment Location:
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid position with bi-monthly in-office presence required.
