Sr. QA Tester:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Sr. QA Tester for a contract role. This position is a remote position based out of our client’s Calgary office.

Sr. QA Tester - Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced QA Tester with expertise in Dayforce, Payroll, and Workforce Time Management (WFM) to support end-to-end testing activities for a large-scale HCM implementation. The successful candidate will validate Dayforce configurations, test integrations, develop detailed test cases, execute test scenarios, and ensure business requirements are met across Payroll and Workforce Management processes.

Sr. QA Tester - Responsibilities:
• Validate Dayforce configuration against documented business and functional requirements.
• Execute end-to-end testing across Payroll, Workforce Time Management, Time & Attendance, Scheduling, Absence Management, and related HCM processes.
• Perform System Integration Testing (SIT), plan & coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and Payroll Parallel Testing.
• Validate inbound and outbound integrations between Dayforce and connected systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Work closely with functional consultants, payroll SMEs, business analysts, integration teams, and developers to investigate issues.
• Document test results, evidence, defects, and testing metrics.

Sr. QA Tester - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance and software testing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Dayforce testing experience.
• Experience testing Dayforce Payroll and Dayforce Workforce Management (WFM) modules.
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, time and attendance, scheduling, absence management, and labor rules.
• Experience with defect management and test management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO), Jira, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Sr. QA Tester – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience supporting large-scale Dayforce implementations or HCM transformation programs.
• Experience with payroll parallel testing and reconciliation activities.
• Knowledge of unionized workforce and complex workforce management environments.
• Experience working with Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Dayforce certifications are considered an asset.

Sr. QA Tester – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from August 7, 2026, to October 30, 2026.
