Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer for a 5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer - Job Description:
The project involves implementing digital communication channels for cancer screening correspondence, aligning with Ontario's Digital First for Health Strategy. The Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for testing the Monitoring and Evaluation reporting requirements for this critical project.

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including executing systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing
• Develops test plans, test scripts, and test cases and executes these against various components
• Performs manual testing and debugging by writing complex SQL queries and ETL validation to ensure data transformations and extractions' accuracy and integrity
• Executes functional, integration, interface, performance, and regression testing, prepares estimates, and participates in planning and preparation services

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer - Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent database data analysis skills using SQL
• Expert understanding of database concepts for SQL Server and/or Oracle
• Ability to write complex SQL scripts including joins and aggregations
• 5-7 years of writing complete SQL scripts
• 3-5 years of testing experience with Informatica ETL tool or equivalent
• Experience working in Data Warehouse/Data Migration projects

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public sector experience
• Ability to work in hybrid environments

Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Assignment Length:
This is a 5-month contract position.
