Sr. Scrum Master:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Scrum Master for a short-term role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Sr. Scrum Master - Job Description:
The Scrum Master will lead and mentor software development teams, focusing on Agile processes to deliver value through continuous improvement. This role addresses an operational gap in the Data Product and Data Engineering teams, aiming to stabilize and scale delivery within the Data portfolio.

Sr. Scrum Master - Responsibilities:
• Guide, coach, and mentor the team on Agile Scrum practices and processes
• Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Retrospectives)
• Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, and deliverables that support business goals
• Establish and implement quantitative and qualitative KPIs to drive measurable performance, quality, and consistency
• Prepare and present regular reports on the teams' output, progress, success, and learnings
• Collaborate with Product Owners to support backlog grooming and new requests
• Identify and address any obstacles that occur, driving a continuous improvement mindset into the delivery teams

Sr. Scrum Master - Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
• Expert knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (Definition of Done, User Stories, Automated Testing, Backlog Refinement)
• 10+ years of experience working within Agile Software Development teams
• Deep expertise in Scrum techniques and artifacts
• A team-oriented, collaborative, and empathetic approach to meeting goals and objectives
• Proven organizational and multi-tasking skills with an ability to meet deadlines with ownership and accountability

Sr. Scrum Master – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Certified Scrum Master
• Exposure to Agile delivery within data-focused teams (Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Products)
• Understanding of data workflows, dependencies, and challenges unique to large-scale data platforms

Sr. Scrum Master – Assignment Length:
This is a short-term contract position ending on December 31, 2026.
