Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA:
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA for a 10 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with up to 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA - Job Description:
The Security Specialist for Threat Risk Assessment, Threat Modelling, Vulnerability Assessment, and Risk Identification will develop new workflows and contribute to the growth and maturity of the Security Risk Management and Information Security Office. This role involves conducting comprehensive threat risk assessments and aligning them with industry standards.

Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA - Responsibilities:
• Conduct Threat Risk Assessments (TRA) to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks.
• Develop and apply threat models and work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives.
• Analyze vulnerabilities and assess potential threats and impacts of various risk scenarios.
• Compile detailed TRA reports and maintain risk registers.
• Propose actionable mitigation strategies and ensure alignment with security standards.
• Communicate findings to technical teams and executive leadership.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks.
• Support audit and compliance activities.

Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA - Mandatory Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 31000, NIST RMF).
• Expertise in threat modelling methodologies (e.g., STRIDE, DREAD).
• Strong analytical skills for assessing threat scenarios.
• Proficiency in risk assessment matrices.
• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
• Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements (e.g., PHIPAA).
• Proactive mindset and situational awareness.

Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public Sector Experience.
• Experience with ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and CIS Controls.
• Practical knowledge of threat modeling techniques (e.g., PASTA, MITRE ATT&CK).
• Experience in conducting gap analysis.
• Familiarity with compliance mapping.

The term of this contract is 10 months.

ASAP.

Sr. Security Specialist x2 for TRA - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is onsite, with up to 5 days required in the office, subject to the Hiring Manager’s discretion.
