SSI Analyst:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an SSI Analyst for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SSI Analyst - Job Description:
The SSI Analyst will be responsible for capturing and maintaining standard settlement instructions (SSIs) for capital market clients in internal payment platforms. This role involves ensuring accurate SSI data management and requires effective team coordination and communication for maker/checker validation processes.

SSI Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Support the SSI Management team in maintaining accurate and current SSI data across all systems
• Ensure that all SSI changes are acted upon and system updates are completed correctly
• Execute setup, updates, and deletion of SSI on requests from authorized business channels
• Maintain compliance with segregation of duties controls by participating in maker/checker validation processes
• Monitor exception queues in SSIHub for updates that have failed STP processes and remediate data anomalies
• Support authentication of SSI data on SSI Search for assigned locations and maintain operational SSI documentation

SSI Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong PC skills, particularly Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent distractions and changing priorities
• High standards for accuracy and efficiency
• Demonstrates initiative and seeks to solve problems beyond immediate area of influence
• Ability to maintain strong attention to detail and meet deadlines in high-pressure situations
• Experience with reference data and Capital Markets processes and Operations

SSI Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Facilitates cross-department information flow and best practice sharing
• Builds and matures relationships across the organization; high level of client focus

SSI Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.

SSI Analyst - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 2-3 days in the office, which might increase to 4 days depending on real-estate constraints.
