Staff Accountant:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Staff Accountant for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Beloit, Wisconsin office. 

Staff Accountant - Job Description:
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and assisting with the month-end close process. This role involves supporting the Controller and responding to information requests from management and audit firms.

Staff Accountant - Responsibilities:
• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Preparing journal entries, monthly account analysis, and account reconciliations.
• Assisting in the monthly financial close process.
• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conducting internal inventory audits.
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
• Responding to information requests and reviewing financial statements.
• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Cross-training in accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Managing fixed asset accounting.
• Assisting the Controller as needed.

Staff Accountant - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in general ledger accounting required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Good problem-solving and time management skills.

Staff Accountant – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in cost accounting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Staff Accountant – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
