On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Supply Chain Management Specialist III for a 24-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Houston, Texas office.
Supply Chain Management Specialist III - Job Description:
The Supply Chain Management Specialist III is responsible for delivering high-impact insights on global market trends, competing projects, and geopolitical developments affecting Enbridge. The role involves partnering closely with Supply Chain Management Category Management to identify risks, assess exposure, and develop mitigation strategies to protect cost competitiveness and supply continuity.
Supply Chain Management Specialist III - Responsibilities:
• Monitor global commodity markets and supply-demand fundamentals.
• Track competing projects that may impact Enbridge resources.
• Develop market outlooks and scenario-based analyses.
• Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations.
• Track global tariff regimes and trade agreements.
• Assess impacts of tariffs and trade policies on procurement.
• Analyze geopolitical developments and evaluate supply chain impacts.
• Partner with category managers to develop mitigation strategies.
• Deliver data-driven insights to SCM leadership.
• Utilize market intelligence platforms and analytics tools.
Supply Chain Management Specialist III - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Business, Political Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in market intelligence or supply chain strategy.
• Deep knowledge of global trade policy and geopolitical risk factors.
• Experience supporting procurement in a global organization.
• Strong capability in forecasting and scenario planning.
• Proven ability to guide decisions across stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills.
Supply Chain Management Specialist III – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with tariff engineering and supplier diversification.
• Familiarity with dual sourcing and regional diversification.
• Experience in inventory optimization.
• Ability to develop executive-ready reports and dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
