On behalf of our logistics client, Procom is searching for a Support Functions: Logistics Analyst 1 for a 12 month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Greensboro, North Carolina office.

Support Functions: Logistics Analyst 1 - Job Description:
The US Logistics Operations Specialist is responsible for implementing logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and performance across the supply chain network. This role involves managing transport planning and shipment management for North American Packaged Goods operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods across all transport modes.

Support Functions: Logistics Analyst 1 - Responsibilities:
• Execute daily shipment planning and tendering across all transport modes using the TMS (E2Open)
• Perform carrier selection and load optimization
• Manage planning cut-off compliance and coordinate with warehouses, plants, and tollers
• Handle priority and rush order processing, including same-day shipping
• Verify delivery data in TMS and confirm Shipment IDs and SCAC codes back to SAP
• Oversee the spot bid process and manage carrier and warehouse performance
• Develop strategic relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs)
• Collaborate with various departments to enhance customer satisfaction and logistics capabilities
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage logistics systems implementation

Support Functions: Logistics Analyst 1 - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, distribution, and inventory management principles
• Proficiency in logistics-based technology solutions (such as SAP, TMS, WMS)
• Solid understanding of all transportation modes and carrier management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make timely and efficient decisions

Support Functions: Logistics Analyst 1 – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with strategic supplier management
• Familiarity with FTZ, freeze protect, dangerous goods, and HAZMAT requirements
• Ability to manage seasonal fluctuations and peak period planning
• Experience in developing logistics strategies to enhance customer satisfaction
• Proficiency in data-driven initiatives for cost-reduction strategies
