Systems Administrator - SQL:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Systems Administrator - SQL for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Administrator - SQL - Job Description:
The role involves end-to-end development and sustaining the infrastructure to deliver metrics and reports to over 20,000 users. The focus is on strengthening the governance model to mitigate operational risks and provide superior production support.

Systems Administrator - SQL - Responsibilities:
• Become a subject matter expert on existing infrastructure and associated tools including SQL Server, Teradata, SAS, Tableau/PowerBI, Stonebranch, Unix/Linux Server, and Data Lake
• Research internal and external documentation on processes and best practices
• Continuously learn, document, share best practices, and reinforce guidelines
• Identify gaps in the existing governance model and lead its change management with manager support
• Establish thorough business and technical understanding of existing reports
• Provide timely delivery of reports and communicate any potential impacts and delays to stakeholders
• Conduct thorough investigations, identify the cause of any production issues, and resolve them independently
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual steps and optimize code performance

Systems Administrator - SQL - Mandatory Skills:
