Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Job Description:
The new QA Specialist role focuses on systems testing with a critical project involving AODA compliance and automated testing. The candidate will work on high-impact projects with a focus on accessibility and compliance.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, and selection of testing tools.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments.
• Develops test plans, test scripts, and test cases, executing these against various components.
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regression tests.
• Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using tools like Selenium or Postman.
• Conducts performance, stress, and load testing to ensure system capability.
• Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements.
• Participates in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• 2+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments.
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Extensive experience with AODA testing and compliance.
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies, test cases, and scripts.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to provide input for user manuals and release notes.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.
