On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Job Description
The role involves manual testing and data reconciliation for large business systems within the Community Services Cluster in Toronto. The project is critical and requires full-time onsite presence to ensure the successful execution of testing strategies and accessibility compliance.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Responsibilities
• Provide advice on the testing strategy and test plans.
• Lead and execute manual testing activities for complex business systems.
• Develop test plans, test cases, and expected test results.
• Conduct data reconciliation activities.
• Perform accessibility testing of applications aligning with AODA (WCAG2.0 AA).
• Utilize tools such as IBM J-Rules Engine, Jira, Bugzilla, and HP/Microfocus Product Suite.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills
• Proven experience in manual testing and data reconciliation for large systems.
• Experience in developing test plans for complex systems.
• Familiarity with setting up test strategies for systems with high change rates.
• Proficiency in accessibility testing of web-based platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills
• Experience with workflow and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of custom and COTS implementations.
• Experience in public sector projects.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Assignment Length
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.
