Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Job Description:
The QA Specialist role is part of a critical project involving testing for large-scale applications. The specialist will engage in testing activities across diverse platforms, ensuring quality and functionality in both web and mobile environments.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver detailed test cases and scripts aligned with business requirements and project objectives.
• Execute testing activities and document results for various testing types across multiple platforms and environments.
• Maintain accurate records of test discrepancies and defects using designated QA tools.
• Develop and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts as needed.
• Collaborate with project team, business analysts, and developers to create and manage test data and scenarios.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing practices.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Mandatory Skills:
• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience performing testing for large-scale applications.
• Strong experience in executing test cycles and managing the full defect lifecycle using tools like JIRA, OpenText ALM, etc.
• Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience in Waterfall, Agile (Scrum), and Hybrid environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Certification in Software Quality Engineering or an equivalent credential.
• Previous experience with AI-based solutions, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or SAP.
• Experience with API and AODA testing.
• Experience in public sector projects.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Start Date:
ASAP.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Intermediate - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, with a hybrid work model requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
