Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2):
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto or Guelph office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2) - Job Description:
This role involves working on the Ontario Agricultural Soil Information System (OASIS) project, a critical initiative for testing cloud-based applications. The project focuses on designing and developing a comprehensive system for managing agricultural soil data using Azure Cloud Java technology and ESRI GIS technology.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2) - Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive hands-on testing for cloud-based Java technologies, including JSON, RESTful Web Services, and HTML5
• Develop and execute test plans, strategies, and testing artifacts to ensure software quality
• Document errors and manage defect tracking
• Enhance usability of programs through debugging and code improvements

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2) - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of QA testing experience using Agile, hybrid, and Waterfall SDLC methodologies
• Experience with cloud-based Java technologies, JSON, RESTful Web Services, and HTML5
• Ability to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans
• Strong documentation and defect management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with ESRI GIS technology
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud services
• Background in agricultural or environmental systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (2) – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
