On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (5) for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (5) - Job Description:
This new role focuses on automated test scripts and defect management. The project involves developing complex test plans and coordinating defects throughout the testing lifecycle to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (5) - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for software projects
• Develops automated test scripts and executes complex test plans
• Coordinates and manages project defects based on priority and severity
• Creates a variety of test data using automated test tools for functional and regression testing

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior (5) - Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated system testing expertise through automated test scripts
• Expertise in creating test data using tools like SOAP UI, Swagger, Postman
• Experience managing project defects
• Proficiency with tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for API testing
• Experience developing performance test scripts using JMeter or LoadRunner
