Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves critical manual and automated testing for high-quality software delivery within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The project focuses on ensuring robust software integration and performance, involving both manual and automated testing strategies.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product managers and technical teams to develop test strategies and plans
• Organize testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Appium
• Execute various testing activities including integration, functional, and regression testing
• Communicate test results and participate in requirement workshops and sprint reviews
• Conduct post-release testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured
• Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services
• Ability to write and execute SQL queries for database validation
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Playwright
• Experience in testing large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Prior OPS/public sector experience
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like Jmeter or LoadRunner
• Experience with AODA Compliance Audit tools
• Strong leadership skills and ability to drive testing initiatives
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Start Date:
ASAP.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
