Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services Integration Cluster client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 15-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves leading testing efforts for large-scale systems within an enterprise-level IT environment. The specialist will focus on both manual and automation testing, ensuring software reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and resource requirements
• Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including systems integration and stress testing
• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, scripts, and cases
• Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects using tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of software testing experience in enterprise-level IT environments
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, including Azure and AWS
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration tools such as Jenkins and Git
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous OPS or broader public sector experience
• Experience with AODA testing and compliance
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience testing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications
• Knowledge of one or more programming languages
