Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our public sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves a critical project focusing on quality control and testing activities. The project encompasses various testing methodologies to ensure the integrity and performance of systems within the transportation sector.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Engage 3rd party vendors in test planning and coordination of end-to-end testing activities
• Work closely with Software Developers and other technical staff to develop test specifications and build test cases
• Review new or modified programs to ensure they meet user requirements and conform to guidelines
• Plan, analyze, and define testing strategies for software and system testing
• Act as a quality assurance resource on project teams and interact with stakeholders
• Conduct compatibility tests and monitor program performance post-implementation
• Communicate test progress and results to project stakeholders and management

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in planning and performing quality control and testing activities
• 5+ years of experience with writing and executing test scripts in a waterfall and agile environment
• 5+ years of experience in Functional, Smoke, Regression, UAT, E2E, and other cross-team testing
• 5+ years of expertise in using JIRA, Zephyr, and Confluence or similar
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
• Completion of a university degree or college diploma in a relevant field

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of Transportation Operations terms and concepts
• Experience in data analytics projects with data analysis and data verification
• Proven knowledge in SaaS, COTS application verification
• Experience with tools such as Postman, LoadRunner, SoapUI, Selenium or similar
• Experience in non-functional testing including performance testing, AODA testing, Security Testing, Usability Testing, and PCI compliance testing

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
