Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 4-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This new QA Specialist role involves manual testing for large-scale systems within the Government Services Integration Cluster. The project focuses on ensuring system compliance and functionality through extensive testing methodologies.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on testing strategy, test plans, and selection of testing tools.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments.
• Develops test plans, scripts, and cases, and executes these against various components.
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regression tests.
• Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects using tools like ALM and JIRA.
• Works closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Conducts performance, stress, and load testing to ensure system capacity.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure quality.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and automated testing tools.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Extensive experience with AODA testing and compliance.
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies and test reports.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Postman.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Strong understanding of databases such as SQL, Oracle.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 4-month contract position with the potential for extension.

ASAP.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, onsite 5 days a week.
