Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical digital information system integration project for Technology Services. The project focuses on building a modern digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Prepare appropriate level test cases for functional/unit testing
• Perform functional/unit testing and document results
• Assist other groups with their related testing activities (UAT)
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in defect tracking using a collaborative tool
• Experience in developing test plans, test scripts, and test data
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing and leading initial UAT sessions
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as SharePoint, .NET Web, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript
• Knowledge and experience in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle
• Experience documenting and tracking testing and issue tracking systems such as JIRA, Azure DevOps Boards, Asana
• Good analytical and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous experience working in Government or Public Sector organizations
• Familiarity with automated test tools and version control systems
• Experience in knowledge transfer processes
• Experience with change request management
• Experience with public sector projects

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
