Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves leading large-scale systems testing with a focus on automated testing and ensuring compliance with AODA standards. The specialist will work on high-impact projects within a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with various teams to ensure system quality and accessibility.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and tool selection
• Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems, including GUI and non-GUI environments
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases
• Execute functional, integration, system, and regression tests
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing
• Ensure compliance with AODA standards

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments
• Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools
• Proficiency in test automation tools like Selenium or Postman
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience in creating and maintaining test strategies and reports
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with OPS or public sector
• Knowledge of programming languages
• Familiarity with information retrieval packages
• Understanding of object-oriented testing methods
• Experience with Commercial Off-the-Shelf Applications (COTS)

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
