On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite role at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This critical project involves manual testing and defect management for a large-scale system within the public sector. The role focuses on ensuring quality assurance through meticulous testing processes and managing defects using tools like Jira.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Conduct manual testing across various testing types, including functional, non-functional, and UAT.
• Track and manage defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Engage in performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance practices within the team.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with Manual Testing.
• 5+ years of experience in manual testing across various testing types.
• Proficiency in using Jira for defect management.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with AODA compliance.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in a public sector environment.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.

ASAP.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in the office.
