Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The role involves working with the Government Services Integration Cluster on large-scale systems testing. The project focuses on ensuring quality assurance across complex systems, including both functional and non-functional requirements, with an emphasis on testing strategies and methodologies.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, and selection of testing tools
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments
• Develops and executes test plans, scripts, and cases
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regression tests
• Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects
• Develops and maintains automated test scripts
• Conducts performance, stress, and load testing
• Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and project managers

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments
• Hands-on experience in manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Proven expertise in end-to-end testing of complex systems

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation
• Experience with AODA testing and compliance
• Public sector experience

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position.
