Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior for an 8-month role. This position is an onsite position with 5 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
As a Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive testing strategies and executing both manual and automated testing processes. The project involves ensuring the quality and compliance of systems, including web applications and services, with a focus on accessibility standards.

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, and tool selection
• Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems
• Develop and execute test plans, scripts, and cases
• Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results and metrics

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Demonstrated experience developing test strategy, test plans, and test data
• Strong experience in manual and automated testing and scripting
• Experience with automation testing for Windows Services and Web API services
• Experience with tools like Playwright, Quick Test Pro, and LoadRunner
• Experience testing web applications for WCAG AA compliance
• Experience using tools such as ALM, JIRA, and Azure DevOps
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Systems Testing/QA Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of at least one programming language
• Experience testing Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
• Understanding of scripting languages like Python or JavaScript
• Experience with SQL and databases for data warehouse testing
