Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior for a 6 month contract role. This position is an onsite position requiring 5 days at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
The Senior Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist will focus on large-scale systems testing within enterprise-level IT environments. The role involves working with both manual and automated testing frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and compliance with industry standards.

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Provides advice on testing strategy, test plans, and the selection of testing tools.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments.
• Develops test plans, test scripts, and test cases and executes them.
• Executes functional, integration, system, and regression tests.
• Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects using tools like ALM, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
• Develops and maintains automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and Postman.
• Conducts performance, stress, and load testing.
• Collaborates with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure quality.

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in software testing in enterprise-level IT environments and large-scale systems.
• Hands-on working experience in manual testing and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies, test cases, and scripts.
• Experience in test automation tools such as Selenium or Postman for API testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS.

Systems Testing/Quality Assurance Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous OPS/Public sector experience.
• Experience with AODA compliance.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration tools like Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.
• Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Bash).
• Experience with tools like ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.

This is a 6 month contract position.
