Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office. 

Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies - Job Description:
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and supporting the Bank's storage platforms, focusing on business-as-usual operational support. This involves managing and supporting NAS and SAN technologies within a large, global enterprise-class storage environment.

Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies - Responsibilities:
• Proactively monitor the storage environment and respond to alerts
• Troubleshoot performance concerns and manage escalations
• Support after-hours maintenance activities, including evenings and weekends
• Handle incident management and maintain production environments
• Manage NAS-related performance issues, software upgrades, and incident response activities
• Perform vulnerability remediation and regular/bi-annual code upgrades
• Assist with data migrations and volume/SVM creations on NAS environments

Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience with NAS and SAN technologies, including Netapp C-Mode Clusters and SnapMirror
• 5+ years of experience with performance monitoring tools like On Command Unified Manager
• 3+ years of experience with integration into GEMs or Service Now Platforms
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving abilities with advanced CLI-based troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of authentication and security technologies, including AD, NIS, LDAP, and SSL/TLS configurations

Technical Analyst, Storage Systems Analyst - NAS and SAN Technologies – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Brocade Fabric Switches and Dell/EMC Powermax SAN/zFS storage solutions
• 3+ years of experience in storage automation with Python and Ansible
• Familiarity with object-oriented Python programming and GIT protocol
• Experience with Dell/EMC ECS on-prem Object Store

This is a 12-month contract position.
