Technical Project Manager:
On behalf of our consulting sector client, Procom is searching for a Technical Project Manager for a 3 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3-4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Technical Project Manager - Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager will lead the data migration workstream within a complex banking transformation program. This role involves coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders, and dependent workstreams to deliver agreed migration outcomes. The project focuses on data migration, ensuring effective setup, readiness, and governance of the data environment.

Technical Project Manager - Responsibilities:
• Lead the data migration workstream within a banking transformation program.
• Oversee setup, readiness, and governance of the data environment.
• Identify, assess, and manage data-migration risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Manage technical program escalations and translate complex issues for leadership.
• Apply knowledge of banking delivery environments to facilitate discussions.
• Own integrated program tracking for scope, schedule, and milestones.
• Facilitate project-team and governance forums, maintain project artifacts.

Technical Project Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, leading technical transformations.
• Experience with data environments, testing, data mapping, and conversion event management.
• Experience in Canadian financial services managing projects.
• Experience in Agile Methodology.
• PMP certification – preferred.
• Expert in using MS Suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Experience in using Jira and managing Jira tickets.

Technical Project Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Google Suite – Intermediate level.
• Experience using reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience in Migration.
• Strong business acumen with business-driven initiatives.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Project Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 3 month contract position.

ASAP.

Technical Project Manager - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3-4 days per week in-office.
