Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo):
On behalf of our Public Sector client, Procom is searching for a Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) - Job Description:
The Maximo developer will support the EWMS Program and vendor teams, focusing on configuring the Maximo application suite for work management implementations within the technology ecosystem. This role involves developing all functional and technical aspects of Maximo solution development, ensuring high solution quality, and managing the realization of the design into a fully built, tested, and live solution.

Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) - Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, upgrade, test, implement, release, and document software components of Maximo applications.
• Create IBM BIRT reports and Cognos dashboards using the Maximo application.
• Work independently and in teams to deliver on aggressive schedules and goals throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Communicate with end-users, business analysts, systems analysts, and PMs to determine features, requirements, and solution designs.
• Collaborate effectively with other technology teams and architects to solve larger and complex problems.
• Conduct quality assurance on all new configurations alongside QA protocols.
• Provide assessments and recommendations of new technology trends for the City.

Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in developing/solution implementation using IBM Maximo MASx, Maximo Mobile, and Maximo 7.6.x.
• Extensive experience of 10+ years on Maximo application configuration & development.
• Experience on large Maximo implementations, projects, migrations, testing, upgrade, and documentation.
• Experience with Maximo Business Objects & Web Beans (Java), Automation scripts (Jython/Python).
• Experience building integrations with SAP, Salesforce, GIS using Web services and integration technologies like RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs.
• Experience using version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo Spatial configuration & ArcGIS.

Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Public sector experience.
• Experience with Visual Studio.Net and/or Eclipse.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Experience in developing new Maximo applications, workflows, and BIRT reports.
• Knowledge of technical strategies for legacy data conversion and migration.

Software Developer (Maximo)- Senior-Development Specialist (IBM Maximo) – Assignment Length:
The initial term is 12 months with an option to extend 2 times for 6 months each.
