Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3–4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support - Job Description:
The project involves supporting day-to-day payroll operations by providing technical expertise in SAP Payroll systems. The ideal candidate will independently troubleshoot and resolve technical discrepancies, guide Payroll Analysts, and assist with various projects, testing, and year-end processes.

Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support - Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to SAP Payroll Reporting & Testing Analysts
• Assist in the investigation, analysis, and resolution of technical payroll system problems
• Support year-end payroll activities, including tax form preparation and reconciliation
• Collaborate with the SAP Canadian Payroll Technology team for global expansion initiatives
• Support the configuration and technical assistance of SAP payroll systems
• Participate in payroll testing cycles, potentially outside regular business hours
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support - Mandatory Skills:
• 3+ years’ technical experience with SAP HCM payroll and reporting
• Experience with year-end processes (e.g., tax forms)
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel capability (formulas, pivot tables)

Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous experience within a payroll or HR function
• Deep understanding and knowledge of banking policies and procedures
• Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity
• Strong knowledge of payroll policies, processes, and practices
• PCP or CPM designation or in progress is considered an asset

Technical Support – SAP HCM Payroll Support – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3–4 days in the office based on business needs.
