Technical Writer

On behalf of our utilities client, Procom is searching for a Technical Writer for a 6-month role. This role can be Hybrid in Burnaby BC or Remote across Canada supporting PST Hours.

Technical Writer

Provide Technical Writer support to Safety Programs team develop or move safety program content from current template to a new standards template

Technical Writer - Mandatory Skills:

• A minimum three (3) years of technical writing experience specific to the topic area for which the resource is being engaged e.g. Safety, Engineering, etc.
• Prepare instruction manuals, journal articles, and other supporting documents to communicate complex and technical information more easily and in a way that is actionable by the reader.
• Perform technical writing activities such as developing safety procedures and program materials
• Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
• Applicants will be required to submit a relevant writing portfolio and relevant work experience.

Technical Writer – Assignment Length:

6 months to start.
