Technical Writer:
On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Technical Writer for a short-term role. This position is a remote position with no onsite requirement at our client’s Calgary office.

Technical Writer - Job Description:
This project involves a comprehensive overhaul of technical guides for the CreditLens SaaS platform, preparing for an upcoming major business banking release. The role focuses on translating complex technical workflows and system specifications into clear and structured documentation.

Technical Writer - Responsibilities:
• Audit existing CreditLens user guides and analyze usage metrics for gap assessment
• Author, update, and standardize user guides, technical manuals, and release notes
• Translate complex technical system specifications into easy-to-read documentation
• Maintain standardized, audit-ready documentation in shared repositories

Technical Writer - Mandatory Skills:
• Proven track record in software/SaaS technical writing
• Experience in software user guide creation and workflow mapping
• Strong technical comprehension
• Ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and credit specialists
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving abilities
• Experience with documentation audit and gap assessment

Technical Writer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with the CreditLens SaaS platform
• Experience in the financial or banking sector
• Knowledge of API/model updates documentation
• Experience working with large teams
• Resource centralization experience
