Technology Architect - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Technology Architect - Senior for an 8-month role. This position is a remote position with candidates required to reside in Ontario, Canada.

Technology Architect - Senior - Job Description:
The Solaris Evergreening project involves transitioning application databases from Solaris infrastructure to supported infrastructure and upgrading to the latest version of Oracle database software where applicable. This project aims to eliminate security and financial risks by decommissioning out-of-support Solaris infrastructure following successful migrations.

Technology Architect - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Document and design 'as is' state of solution architecture and prepare and present solution blueprint requirements/design using MS Visio.
• Undertake and/or lead in-depth and complex technical architecture reviews and assessments, development and/or support projects.
• Complete required corporate architecture documentation to meet governance points.
• Ensure integration with related corporate and client cluster policies and standards, and incorporation of best practices in the industry.
• Provide guidance to infrastructure delivery on infrastructure requirements, including networking.
• Lead and/or participate in highly sensitive technical architecture investigations.
• Develop technical architecture specifications for service providers and vendors.
• Ensure detailed technical information is documented for deployment and support purposes.

Technology Architect - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Ministry experience - OPS architecture and design experience.
• Experience with MS Visio for solution architecture design.
• Ability to complete corporate architecture documentation.
• Knowledge of on-premise hosting environments and cloud.
• Experience leading technical architecture reviews.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Technology Architect - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with the Zachman Framework.
• Experience with Oracle database software.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork-oriented mindset.

Technology Architect - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.

ASAP.

Remote position, candidate must reside in Ontario, Canada.
