Technology Architect:
On behalf of our Transportation client, Procom is searching for a Technology Architect for a contract position.

Technology Architect - Job Description:
The Technology Architect will be responsible for developing and managing the technical architecture across a large, distributed cross-platform environment. This role involves implementing and managing hardware, software, database, and communication systems, as well as identifying and determining the appropriate environment for application development.

Technology Architect - Responsibilities:
• Develop, recommend, and implement technical architecture for applications
• Manage hardware, software, database, and communications systems
• Identify relevant information and determine development environments
• Provide leadership in technical architecture development and implementation
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications

Technology Architect - Mandatory Skills:
• Leadership experience in technical architecture development and implementation
• Extensive experience with multiple platforms, operating systems, and database technologies
• Experience with middleware and gateways
• Knowledge of IT security strategies and governance
• Designing systems for zero trust with 5 years of experience

Technology Architect – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes
• Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (Open Text ECM applications)
• Understanding of Information Management principles

Technology Architect – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract to start

Technology Architect - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
