Telecommunications Systems Analyst
On behalf of our telecommunications client, Procom is searching for a Telecommunications Systems Analyst/Engineer - Intermediate for a 5 month contract. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Telecommunications Systems Analyst - Job Description:
The project involves the migration of user telephony configurations from an existing PBX platform to a next-generation PBX environment supporting Microsoft Teams Phone. The role focuses on ensuring seamless transition and integration of user profiles and telephony settings into the new system.

Telecommunications Systems Analyst - Responsibilities:
• Extract and analyze user configurations from the legacy PBX
• Map user profiles, DIDs, line appearances, call flows, hunt groups, call queues, voicemail settings, and routing policies
• Translate legacy telephony settings into the new PBX/Teams voice architecture
• Support bulk user migrations and validation testing
• Provide migration support and post-cutover issue resolution

Telecommunications Systems Analyst - Mandatory Skills:
• Experience with PBX systems and Microsoft Teams Phone
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in user profile mapping and call routing configurations

Telecommunications Systems Analyst – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Familiarity with voice policies and voicemail settings
• Experience with migration projects
• Knowledge of hunt groups and call queues

Telecommunications Systems Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for approx 5 months.


Telecommunications Systems Analyst - Assignment Location:
Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite. Requires full time onsite to begin.
