On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Test Automation Developer for a contract position.

Test Automation Developer - Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Automation Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software products. This role requires a deep understanding of testing frameworks, automation tools, and best practices in software testing.

Test Automation Developer - Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Java developers, product owners, IT business analysts, and other test automation developers, to define test requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate the testing process.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship to junior test automation engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Test Automation Developer - Mandatory Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Strong experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Oracle ERP module experience and payments.

Test Automation Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Test Automation Developer – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract to start

ASAP.

Test Automation Developer - Assignment Location:
Toronto - Hybrid role with 2 days in the office.
